Maria Munoz a resident of New Canaan, CT, received a Certificate of Advanced Study degree from Fairfield University's Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions at the 62nd Commencement ceremonies which took place on May 20, 2012, on Bellarmine Hall Lawn on the campus of Fairfield University.

1,328 undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees were awarded during two ceremonies, one in the morning for undergraduates, and one in the afternoon for those receiving graduate and doctorate degrees.
